Recent Growth

2020

  • Conexus Search, a Los Angeles based boutique executive search firm, merges with Citadel CFO, an Orange County based Interim Consulting firm focused on placing management through C-level Finance Consultants.
  • The “new” Conexus is formed, offering Interim Consulting, Executive Search, and Direct Hire solutions in the disciplines of Finance, Accounting, and Human Resources.

2021

  • In late 2021, Conexus launches a Technology Recruiting practice, focused on recruiting permanent and interim Technology candidates for Conexus’ clients.
  • After setting an initial goal of $20 million in gross revenue and having 50 consultants working at clients, Conexus exceeds $30 million in revenues, with more than 100 consultants on assignment at Conexus’ clients at year end.

2022

  • Conexus completes more than 120 direct hire and executive-level searches in Finance & Accounting, Information Technology, and Human Resources.
  • Conexus places over 300 Consultants on interim assignments and special projects and ends the year with nearly 140 consultants actively working for Conexus clients.
  • Annual revenues exceed $40 million
  • Conexus closes on a strategic investment from Re-Sourcing Holdings and McNally Capital.

2023

  • Conexus acquires Logis CFO, a competitor providing executive search, direct hire, and interim consulting solutions for the Office of the CFO for clients in Southern California and other select markets nationally.
  • Combined, the companies complete more than 200 direct hire and executive searches, deploy consultants on more than 400 assignments, and end the year with nearly 200 consultants actively working at Conexus’ clients.
  • Combined revenues exceed $50 million
  • Conexus and its investment partners close on a strategic investment from MidOcean Partners, a premier, New York based private equity firm, to fund organic growth & strategic acquisitions, expanding Conexus’ footprint nationally and achieving a $100 million annual revenue target by 2025.

We meet with client management and key stakeholders to define expectations, understand company culture, clarify reporting structure, and build a comprehensive list of consulting or position responsibilities, objectives, and challenges.

We collaborate with clients to develop a detailed consulting or position description and a list of key requirements in the consultants or candidate’s background.

On a consulting basis through our agile professional services model, we bring together the right people with the right expertise across multiple disciplines to meet your specific needs. For our searches we identify qualified candidates based on defined criteria; draw upon our vast network of contacts and source directly from target companies.
