What to Expect

At Conexus, our primary objective is to build mutually beneficial, long term relationships, especially with our candidates. We don’t just focus on “making placements”. As a matter of fact, many of our current clients were once our candidates. To make that happen, we had to earn trust and add value during each candidate’s search. If you engage with Conexus, our goal is to exceed the expectations you have of a Recruiter.

When you partner with Conexus during your job search, you will be provided:

Prior to our recruiting careers, we worked in Finance, Consulting, and Human Resources for companies such as Deloitte, EY, Disney, DreamWorks, Fox, and Sony.  Our leadership team has more than 50 years of combined experience specifically recruiting in the Southern California market.  Our understanding of our clients and the positions we recruit for is unparalleled.

During every phase of your search, we will treat you the way we would want to be treated.  If we contact you about an opportunity, it’s a real search.  Unless a search is confidential, we will always share the client’s identity and give you a thorough overview of the position, the company culture, and exceptions.  If a client isn’t interested in an interview or doesn’t ultimately offer you the position, we will explain why.

  • Preparation: We conduct a high-quality preparation call with every single candidate who interviews with one of our clients.  After our “prep”, you will have a thorough understanding of the role, the client’s business and culture, and the client’s interview process.
  • Negotiations: At times, job seekers are uncomfortable with, or unprepared for negotiating compensation. We have negotiated compensation packages for thousands of candidates and will do the same for you. During negotiations, our goal is to maximize your compensation without jeopardizing your offer.
  • Resignation: Resigning can be stressful and awkward.  On some occasions, you may encounter a counteroffer.  You will need to explain why you’re leaving your company, and you don’t want to burn bridges as you leave your organization.  We can guide you through the resignation process offering effective communication strategies to help maintain positive relationships for the future.
  • Follow Up: We will provide any necessary onboarding counsel to both candidate and client. We then follow up with both parties at 30 and 90 days post-start date to ensure both parties are progressing in a positive manner in their relationship.

We understand the importance of confidentiality when considering a job change. We guarantee that we will never share your information with any client until you have given us permission to do so.
